Nash was Diagnosed with Leukemia

Miskin.jpgAs a young, healthy kiddo who never even experienced a minor ear infection, it was shocking and devastating to his family to learn he had cancer. At two years old, Nash was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. His parents immediately began researching the best hospitals for pediatric cancer and were relived to realize they were standing in one of the top ten. Shortly after, Nash began intensive chemotherapy treatment at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center and just recently, celebrated his 3rd birthday. Despite being in the hospital for his special day, he had a huge smile on his face—surrounded by balloons and love from his family and caregivers. Although Childhood Cancer and Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month is coming to a close, the fight will never stop.
